The Zeppelin LZ 7 “Deutschland” was the seventh commercial airship built by Luftschiffbau Zeppelin GmbH in Friedrichshafen on Lake Constance. It was operated by the Deutsche Luftschiffahrts-Aktiengesellschaft, but nine days after its maiden voyage on June 28, 1910, it crashed during a storm on the Limberg near Bad Iburg in the Teutoburg Forest after one of the engines failed.
