This place is ideal for a break on your route: you can eat, rest, and, if you're lucky, enjoy one of winter's most surprising phenomena.
During the cold months, thousands of starlings arrive from northern Europe to these lands in search of milder climates. At dusk, they gather in large flocks, forming incredible aerial choreographies known as murmurations. These formations resemble moving drawings, changing and perfectly synchronized.
In addition to being a unique visual spectacle, starlings play an important role in the ecosystem, helping to control insects and disperse seeds.
