Every year, on December 31st, the 🎆 Britzinger New Year's Eve Run 🏃🏻‍♂️ takes place in Britzingen. The New Year's Eve run has been held in Britzingen, a small wine-growing town in the Markgräfler Land, on the last day of the year since 1985 under the motto "First run, then celebrate".

Starting at 1.30 p.m. there are always around 1000 runners who set off on the 🔟 kilometer long route. The start and finish are in front of the church. The officially measured route leads on slightly hilly, mostly asphalted or paved paths through vines and meadows from Britzingen-Güttigheim to Sankt Ilgen, Buggingen, Dattingen and back to Britzingen.

At the end, every runner can expect a New Year's pretzel at the finish 🥨
