Tips
For many centuries, the Wadgasser Abbey shaped the landscape of Werbeln. Under its leadership, a sheep farm was established there in 1385. In 1669, with the help of Tyrolean woodworkers, it also built a sawmill in Werbeln. After being destroyed and rebuilt in 1790, it was converted into a grain mill.
