The castle in Kirchentellinsfurt is one of the most memorable and oldest buildings in the town. The first construction phase of the castle began in the 16th century under Hans Jakob Widmann von Mühringen. Only later was there talk of a “castle”. After selling the village and the castle to Württemberg, Peter Imhof acquired the castle and the castle goods. He carried out the second phase of construction, which essentially resulted in what can still be seen today. In the 20th century the castle was extensively renovated by the community.
