Lake Gries is an artificial lake located in Ticino, on the border between Italy and Switzerland. It is located at 2386 meters above sea level and is fed by the Gries glacier and the dam of the same name, built in 1965. It is surrounded by a suggestive Alpine landscape, full of hiking trails and mountain bike routes.
