This slope begins in the valley between the town of Larrau and Col Bargagui.
From the beginning of the climb to the town of Larrau, where it joins the slope that rises from Pont de Logibar, there are 2.5 km at 9-10%.
From the town of Larrau to the top of the pass, on the border of Spain and France, there are 11 very hard kilometers, with a break after overcoming the Col d'Erroymendi.
