The stone steps are a recurring feature of the entire hike and run through several sections of the hike to the Reinbach Waterfalls. These stone steps are integrated into the hiking trail and make it easier to negotiate the steeper sections. Most of the stone steps are easy to negotiate and do not pose a great challenge.

The sound of the waterfalls accompanies you throughout the entire trail, and the chirping of birds provides a pleasant, soothing soundscape.

The final section after the bridge at the third waterfall becomes steeper and more challenging. Here, the trail leads through a particularly narrow passage where the steps are slightly higher and the climb is clearly noticeable. This section requires more stamina, but is worth the effort for the view of the St. Francis and Clare Chapel, the final destination of the hike.

The trail offers repeated breathtaking views, and the sound of the water and the quiet, moss-covered stones create a tranquil, almost meditative atmosphere.
