The Niedersächsische Spargelstraße proves the noble vegetable asparagus Reverenz, which is grown in northwestern Germany in the area between Braunschweig and Lüneburg, between Bremen, Cloppenburg and Vechta, from Nienburg / Weser via Hoya to Soltau.
The asparagus road has a length of about 750 km and connects the tourist regions of Lüneburg Heath, Hanover and surrounding areas, Braunschweiger Land, Mittelweser and the Oldenburger Münsterland.
It was initiated by the Verein Niedersächsische Spargelstraße e.V. and is a counterpart to the German Wine Route, the Lower Saxony Mühlenstraße and the German Fairy Tale Road.
