Avenida Pardo is also known as “Paseo de los Héroes”. The avenue is known for its houses called “chalets”, which look beautiful in combination with the surrounding gardens. Monuments to six brave heroes of Peru were erected on the avenue.
However, the entire avenue is currently being rebuilt and renovated. Hopefully when it's finished it will look pretty nice again.
