Ghanpokhara is a Village Development Committee in the Lamjung District. The village is situated on the ridge at about 2,100 m between the valleys of the Marsyangdi River / Khudi Khola to the east and the Midim Khola to the west and offers a magnificent view of the Mansiri Himal Range including Manaslu (8,163 m) / Ngadi Chuli (7,871 m) / Himalchuli (7,893m).
