Tokary (Mielnik commune, Siemiatycze poviat). The village located right next to the border with Belarus, or in fact on both sides of the border, as it was cut by a border after World War II (Kresy Total :)), existed already in the 15th century. In the middle of this century, Casimir IV Jagiellon gave a "selco named Tokari" to Steck, Majek and Waśko Olechnowicz, whose descendants began writing themselves Tokarewski or Tokarzewscy.
