The Su Loi tower is one of the 105 watchtowers scattered along the Sardinian coast. Originally used to counter threats from pirates and invaders from the sea, it stands majestically over its surroundings.
Its construction dates back to 1578, when the viceroy of Sardinia, Don Miguel De Moncada, gave the order to begin work to create this defensive bulwark.
