The Erzgebirge has a new work of art in public space. A monument to the Bandonion was erected in Carlsfeld. In conjunction with the "Narrow Gauge Railway Festival Weekend", the sculpture made of Corten steel was ceremoniously unveiled on the village square on June 3, 2023. The object is approximately three by six meters in size and can be illuminated at night.
