Frye Mountain is a 1,122 foot tall peak in the Frye Mountain State Game Management Area. This remote-feeling peak is a local-gem; it is primarily accessed via the Georges Highland Path (which is part of the Hills to Sea system), and can be made into a fairly long loop through the dense forest, passing by streams, rivers, and historic stone walls, which are old farm fields being reclaimed by nature.
