Cross the bridge and you will have access to the little path full of sand that takes you to the La Ballena Alegre campsite. Do not try to go along the campsite's beach. In winter the gate is closed and the sand is so thick that you have to push the bike to cross it. I recommend going along the path on the left that leads to the road Vella d'Empuries.
As for the beach before crossing it, it is a quiet beach, without crowds of people, with fine sand and clean water. It is shallow, ideal for little ones, for bathing and playing with the sand.
Dogs are accepted, and there is a nudist area.
There is enough space to play paddle tennis, beach volleyball or soccer
Higher up is the windsurfing and kitesurfing area.
You have two beach bars if you feel like it.
