Abundant rain for this Sunday 🌧️🌧️. So the bike will be forcibly at rest today 🚲😅. But staying at home wasn't really an option... so we put on a rain jacket and decided to go for a short walk near the Chamberonne, where the river gently ends its course in Lake Geneva. 🌊

I felt it well… yesterday, from Dent de Vaulion, I had a breathtaking view of Mont Tendre. And up there, its summit, all white with snow, was still very visible. Impossible not to think about it… 👀❄️

Yet, I'm not particularly curious by nature. But I like to set myself small challenges. So this morning

After almost five months without riding it, returning to Dent de Vaulion felt almost like a reunion. 🚴‍♂️⛰️

A climb I know well, but which always demands a little respect. The legs warm up, the breathing settles, and the bike climbs steadily to the rhythm of the switchbacks through the forest

There are summits that irresistibly attract cyclists. Today, my goal was clear: to climb to the summit of Suchet.

With this spring still hesitating between mildness and the last memories of winter, I didn't really know what awaited me up there. But curiosity won... and so did the bike. 🚴‍♂️😄

Good surprise

There are days like this when I don't have time for a daytime outing ⏳. The hours fly by, obligations pile up… and the bike has to wait a little 🚴‍♂️.

What I love about cycling, of course, is the feeling of pedaling… that almost hypnotic rhythm of turning legs. But perhaps what I love even more is the rainbow of landscapes that follow one after another during a single ride. 🚴‍♂️🌈
