A nice road along the River Trent. Option to ride on the road or on the wide joint cycle/pedestrian path. Pretty view and a generally good riding surfaces with minimal traffic.

The embankment has currently been closed to cars due to covid, so this makes its the perfect way to get across town on a bike. The river Trent runs next the the road, and is usually full of rowers from the local universities and clubs. There is also large open grass areas to stop at
