    The Carl Duisberg Park and the Japanese Garden in Leverkusen present themselves today as a "green island" in the middle of the large CHEMPARK industrial complex. The park welcomes visitors with spacious lawns where large solitary trees, groups of trees, and shrubs create a diverse landscape. A well-developed network of paths connects all key points, such as the Bayer AG headquarters, the casino, parking lots, and entrances to the CHEMPARK. Elegant park features such as the tomb of Carl Duisberg (1861-1935) and his wife Johanna in the form of a Flora Temple or the Caritas Fountain by Prof. Hugo Lederer from 1923 adorn the park and give it a special aura.
