A very pleasant and completely serene and quiet walk on the track between the two roads through the fields in this area. Very lovely, "classic English" views to the east from the track in the Drybeck direction over the green fields and gentle rolling hills.

Near the Maulds Meaburn road, see if you can spot an erratic rock (i.e. one brought over here by a glacier ages ago, but not limestone native to these parts) in the field!
