Hiking

A large heathland with hills and wide cart tracks. That is the Balloërveld. The fact that this heathland is old can be seen from the cart tracks that we cross here and there. This is where carts drove between the villages more than a hundred years ago. It was a kind of highway of freight traffic. Now you shouldn't be surprised when you cross the flock of sheep on the heath. On the other side of the Balloërveld is the sheepfold.
