An interesting church here that is interesting to make a detour to see, on the Roman Road between Sedbergh and Kirkby Lonsdale. The first church here dated back to the early 17th century, but this one here now was rebuilt in 1878-79.
Just outside the churchyard, you will find a Roman milestone, too, which was found in the countryside and placed here on the small stretch of the Roman road.
