Special landscape, which was shaped by the metal industry that was once active in this valley. For 150 years, heavy metals (zinc, lead, cadmium) fell from the factory chimneys onto these hills, causing a very specific, zinc-loving flora to develop on the contaminated soil. Consider, for example, the zinc violet, zinc cherry and zinc silene.
The whole thing looks somewhat savannah-like.
The area, managed by Natagora, is still relatively unknown to tourists. The municipality of Trooz is trying to do something about this. Before then: enjoy the emptiness and being alone in a special environment.
