The white artwork on the canal is called 'on the road' and was designed by Rob Sweere in consultation with local residents on both sides of the canal, and therefore consists of two equal parts, so that the former connection of the Neerbosch Oost and Neerbosch West districts ( now that Lindenholt) is taking shape. It is of course exactly the place in the Dorpsstraat where the village of Neerbosch was dug through by the construction of the canal. On July 6, 2011, the double work of art was unveiled with the help of a fire boat from the fire brigade, which connected both works of art - and therefore both parts of the city - with a two-sided fountain of water.
