The visitor center of the Dana Biosphere Reserve is located just below the Kings Highway, the main road in Jordan from north to south. The center is run by the Royal Society for the Conservation of Nature (RSCN). Here you should register and pay the entrance fee for the park.

RSCN is an independent national organization dedicated to conserving Jordan's natural resources. The Jordanian government has mandated RSCN to maintain and protect the Kingdom's biodiversity.

From the terrace of the Dana Guest House, part of the visitor center, you have a wonderful view of the deep gorge of Wadi Dana.
