Cabane des Dix

A legendary alpine refuge, located between the majestic Cheilon Glacier and the Luette Glacier. The refuge is an essential part of the classic hiking and ski crossing, the Haute Route, as well as being the starting point for many of the region's climbing routes. At the refuge, you can expect to find great food and drinks in a perfect location, as well as accommodation if you want to extend the adventure. It should be noted that this refuge can get very busy, so it is advisable to book in advance, otherwise you will have to walk back! It should be noted that the refuge is located next to two large glaciers, in a true alpine environment. Therefore, it is expected that you begin your trip here knowing that the weather will be good, that you are prepared, and that you have enough mountaineering experience to ensure safe passage.
