Tips

November 20, 2018

Hiking

From the parking lot you can reach the bird watching hut via a wide boardwalk. Perfect view of the numerous rest birds on the Lagoa dos Salgados. Unfortunately, the ladder that leads to the upper platform is rusting (as of Nov. 2018).

Hiking

With a small climb you also get on the upper platform (11/2018).

Hiking

Unfortunately, what appeared to be a wooden walkway was removed and the path was completely submerged, meaning we were unable to visit the observation platform. We could certainly have enjoyed a beautiful view over the lagoon from the top platform.
