The Chapel of Nossa Senhora das Dores in Mucifal, whose rapid construction in the 1940s was supported by the community and local benefactors, was inaugurated by the parish priest Father César Augusto Garcia. In 2020, the chapel underwent restoration, including the installation of a new bell with automatically programmed rings, and the blessing of two bells named Maria das Dores and João, alluding to Calvary represented on the altar.
