Sunshine Peak just barely cracks into the Colorado 14er list at 14,007 feet. This is one of the more remote 14ers in the state and is most commonly accessed by traveling through Lake City, Colorado. The most common route is a long Class 1/2 trek from Grizzly Basin, but some adventurers will hike off-trail on the very steep southern slopes.
