The Geierlay suspension cable bridge near Mörsdorf is a real highlight in the Hunsrück. The Geierlay cycle path takes cyclists over the 360 meter long and 100 meter high bridge. The recommended direction is from Mörsdorf towards Sosberg so that no bicycles come towards each other on the narrow bridge. There is a lot going on on summer weekends and during holiday periods. We recommend visiting by bike outside of these times. Since the bridge is very slippery, especially when it is wet, it is advisable to plan the tour in dry weather.
