Section of the ascent to Forcella Tacia in the Venzonassa valley coming from Venzone. The ascent in the valley begins on asphalt and concrete. As the altitude increases, the unpaved ascent begins with many switchbacks, which are concreted in exposed sections. The unpaved part is gravel, partly fine gravel, partly washed-out sections with coarser gravel. The route is absolutely fascinating and offers many insights into how Mother Nature carves her paths.
