The white sun-baked rocks of Schoodic Point are the perfect place to enjoy rock pools and gaze out on the open Atlantic or across to Mount Desert Island. At low tide in good weather the stones are easily accessible from the parking lot for all ages and ability levels and make a wonderful picnic area. If you are doing a bike loop of Schoodic Head, this is a great place to meet up with friends or family mid-route. There are restrooms available near the parking lot.
