The Shelden Estate is the remnant area of the old estate on the Green Hill Farm property in Stony Creek Metro Park. There is a huge network of hiking trails at the back of the property, which is guarded here at the entrance by a short wall.

On the Shelden Trails at Stony Creek Metropark in Oakland County, Michigan, you'll find the former estate of prominent philanthropists and conservationists from the early 20th century, George and Elizabeth Shelden. The trails offer a variety of terrain and difficulty levels, from flat and paved roads to hilly and wooded paths.
