Baldy Lake is a primitive, small alpine lake located in the North Fork John Day Wilderness. There is no fee or pass required for this site and it is only open to foot traffic. There are plenty of wildflowers throughout the summer with the best seasons to visit being July through September.

High-clearance vehicles are highly recommended to get here, but I'm sure you'll see a few Camry's at the trailhead too.
