Here's a nice vantage point into Twin Lakes Basin. You may share this ridge view with mountain goats, as they frequent the area. This could also make for a good turnaround spot for a shorter out-and-back.

Just where Elkhorn Crest Trail intersects Twin Lakes Trail, you have a stunning overlook of the Twin Lakes with a mountain vista overhead. This would be a great spot to watch the sunset with the light disappearing behind the horizon.
