Hainchen is located on the eastern edge of the historic Siegerland region. The Haincher Höhe, named after the town, which towers over the town immediately to the east by around 200 m, is a ridge-like southwestern offshoot of the Rothaar Mountains and forms a natural border between North Rhine-Westphalia and Hesse. In the northeast extension of this ridge, around 5 km away, lies the highest elevation in the town, the Jagdberg, at 676 m.

Beautiful view. You can start great hiking tours from here. If you know your way around, you can also start circular tours here.
