This hard-packed gravel trail is built on an old railbed, and makes for great running. Watch out for other trail users (including bikes) and for occasional ruts left by all-terrain vehicles.
You can easily turn this into a loop by incorporating some of the Forest Service roads in the area, or just run back on the rail trail if you prefer.
