This scenic, remote-feeling trail is built on the bed of the abandoned Laramie, Hahns Peak and Pacific Railroad. It's made of hard-packed gravel with gentle curves and grades, although you may occasionally have to steer around ruts left by all-terrain vehicles at trail crossings. Watch out for moose!
