A popular meeting point for young and old is the Immaculata Column (the Immaculate One) between Weiden am See and Neusiedl am See.

Weiden am See is also known as the “armchair village”. On nice days in the warm half of the year, armchairs with agricultural goods or art objects (mainly straw wickerwork) are placed in front of the houses along the thoroughfare and the goods are offered for sale.
