You can see the huge tower of the church from afar. Since the middle of the 12th century it has stood here in an open field between four villages, all of which were incorporated into parishes on equal terms. It is one of the oldest stone churches in the Altmark and is impressive due to its size and furnishings and is always worth a visit.

The Krusemark church was built in the middle of the 12th century in an open field between the villages of Hohenberg-Krusemark, Groß- and Klein Ellingen and attracts attention from afar with its enormous tower. Four elaborate baroque epitaphs are attached to the long walls.
