The easternmost municipality in the Bodenseekreis borders the area of the town of Tettnang (Bodenseekreis) to the west and southwest, the municipality of Achberg to the south, the town of Wangen im Allgäu to the east and the municipality of Bodnegg to the north (all in the Ravensburg district).
