Some roads are paved and some are on soft forest floor.
Near intersection Wilhelmsdorferstraße / Verler Straße (near Eckardtsheim), near the small supermarket, there is a small Padweg. He leads to a wooden bridge.
Then you can continue cycling on the road towards Schloss Holte.

Since October 2004, there is a historical tour of the history of Eckardtsheim. Interesting are the 14 great days in summer: "Eckardtsheim - in the middle!" With art exhibition, concerts, sports and the "SPuK beer garden" - every day with stage program. Also worth seeing is the Christmas market on the 2nd Advent weekend.
