Alta Church (Norwegian: Alta kirke) is a parish church of the Church of Norway in Alta municipality in Troms og Finnmark county, Norway. It is located in the Bossekop area in the town of Alta. It is one of the churches in the municipality of Alta, which is part of the Alta Prosti (Deanery) in the Diocese of Nord-Hålogaland. The white wooden church was built in 1858 in the long church style according to plans by the architect Stephen Henry Thomas. The church can accommodate around 230 people. The church is the oldest building in Alta, as all buildings in the city were burned down during World War II. This church was allowed to remain standing because the cemetery is in the immediate vicinity.
