On this section, wild, free-roaming Exmoor ponies can be seen and experienced up close. Some a little more shy and some more trusting. A little caution is advisable, one or two things can get a little "wilder", but that is noticeable. I'm not sure if they can be found in this section at any time of year, as there are other areas in the forest that have animal barriers and I have seen some of the beautiful creatures in other areas. From the hiking car park a few meters further ahead you can walk beautiful small and large circular trails.
