A very well loved track, and for good reason. Ivybridge Lane is a bridleway that heads south from Princetown past South Hessary Tor to Nun's Cross, right across the open moorland in Central Dartmoor. On a clear day, the views from up here are sublime, and it's easy to feel very small in this magnificent landscape.

The track undulates gently and is fairly smooth, apart from the drainage channels that are cut into it with stone reinforcements.

Look out for ponies, sheep and cattle as you walk, tramp or ride along this glorious section of gravel.
