Welcome to the Alpakahof Heidemann

It started as a little dream...

In 2018 we happened to come across alpacas live for the first time. We were immediately impressed by these special animals. A long period of deliberation began. Is this something for us, can it be integrated into our everyday lives and can we do justice to the animals? So we first took part in a basic husbandry and breeding course and then it was clear that we wanted to breed alpacas. So a lot more information was collected, a stable was rebuilt and the pastures were prepared. In June and July 2020 the time had finally come, the first 5 animals were selected and were able to move in with us in August after the renovation work was completed.

We now have 16 alpacas living with us and there will definitely be a few more to come.

We look forward to giving you a little insight into the world of alpacas in the future.
