This is the world's oldest original model village. The model railway village first opened in 1929 and attracted the attention of the Royal family. Since then, there have been many changes, and much of it was reconstructed, but the old signalling system was incorporated into the modern computer-controlled network. It is a very popular attraction in Beaconsfield.
