In 1914 the villa was built for the royal master of ceremonies W. von Hardt. During the Weimar Republic, the house belonged to the Jewish banker Emil Wittenberg. He was expropriated by the National Socialists. The Wehrmacht military command then moved into the property. After 1945, the Cultural Association of the GDR took over the property, which was then named after the writer Bernhard Kellermann. There was already a restaurant in the villa between 1990 and 2009. After that the house was empty. After the reopening, guests are welcome here again.
