Purple Pass is a high mountain pass east of Lake Chelan and Stehekin. Although the climb up to the pass is strenuous - ascending many, many switchbacks - you get great views of the lake, and in the summer there is an abundance of wildflowers lining the trail. From Purple Pass you can either summit Boulder Butte or continue to Juanita Lake, which has campsites near a small lake.
