From this panoramic point near the summit of Mount Chétif, you can admire the Brenva glacier, the fourth largest in the Aosta Valley. In the Aosta Valley dialect, known as patois, the term "brenva" indicates the larch tree.

The Brenva glacier, located on the Italian side of the Mont Blanc massif, next to the Aiguille Blanche de Peuterey and the Aiguille Noire de Peuterey, is recognized as the highest icefall in the Alps. The view from here is spectacular; it almost seems possible to touch it with your hands.
